Model Description: 

BS 25 MODEL OF BRAIN IN 15 PARTS

This is a full size brain model that separates altogether into 15 parts as follows: Two cerebral hemispheres, temporal and occipital lobes with limbic system, cerebellum, frontal lobe, corpus callosum, two divided brain stems, corpus striatum, two insula, nucleus lentiformis (left), internal capsule (right), ventricles of the brain, and the base of the skull as a stand. This model of the brain was developed by Prof. Johannes Rohen in close co-operation with Dr. Lindner-Funk and is made to be an accurate representation of the brain structures as they exist in the living human. It can be dismantled into all of the major parts of the brain and is thus an ideal teaching aid for everyone who has to teach neuro-anatomy to students of medicine, biology and the paramedical professions. The Somso company has set the standard for quality anatomical models and is known for their beautiful models that contain copious amounts of hand painting and finishing. This brain can be found in many major universities and museums because of it's accurate depiction of the brain. It comes with an identification key in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
